  • What is the VIP tan?
Our VIP tan is our luxe version of our studio spray. It includes prep and moisture lock mists that add longevity to your color. Think of these as a base and top coat to your fingernail polish, but for a tan. You can add these services on at the time of your appointment if you book the standard studio tan.
  • What is included in the post care bundle?
At the time of your appointment, you will receive a bag with our recommended lotion and body wash. Both of these items are travel size (2 oz). You will also receive a mini bag of our very own Glow Dust, which can be used post-tan for (1)sweating, (2)around areas where friction occur (sports bra & sock line), and (3)as a spray tan safe body highlighter.
  • How far in advance of an event should I tan?
Typically, it's best to spray two days prior to your event, especially if you're a bride. This gives the color full time to develop & decreases the chance that the color will transfer. For vacations, the day before you leave is fine.
  • Is the solution tinted?
Yes, there is immediate color due to the cosmetic bronzer in all of our solutions. The bronzer acts as a guide so the artist can see what she is doing.
  • What should I wear?
I always tell my clients to wear whatever feels comfortable. Just be aware of tan lines! Dark colored bathing suits are always a great option. We provide disposable underwear. And yes, topless is fine!
  • How long does the tan last?
The answer depends on several variables, but most of it depends on how well you prep & take care of your tan post-spray. If you follow the directions we send after booking, it should last 7-10 days before it starts to fade. The fade should be consistent with your natural skin-shed cycle. We do offer a prep & moisture lock sprays that can be added on at the time of service to extend your color an additional 1-3 days. Stay moisturized & stay hydrated!
  • Is there a minimum service & travel fee?
Minimum Service Fee - There is a minimum service fee if you are outside Knoxville city limits. If this applies, the minimum is $100. Travel Fee - A large part of our business is mobile, & we love offering this service to our clients. We have a flat $50 travel fee for any destination not in Knoxville city limits. A deposit may be required for larger groups, discussed at the time of booking. We collect the minimum service & travel fee at the appointment.
  • Do you have cancellation & late policies?
Yes, we do have a 24 hour cancellation policy. As a small business, we cannot financially absorb the cost of a missed appointment without adequate time to fill that spot. We do realize things come up, & in the event of an emergency, we are happy to reschedule your appointment to a later date. We have a late policy. We schedule studio appointments in 20 minute increments, & we feel that if someone is more than 5 minutes late to their appointment, this impacts the rest of our day, as well as our other clients' schedules. If you do plan on being more than 5 minutes late, please let us know, & we will do our best to work you into an empty slot.
  • What if I'm pregnant?
Always check with your OB! We do have a great ventilation system, which is different than a booth. Sometimes that makes expecting mothers feel more comfortable. We also provide masks upon request.
  • Is there a discount for first time clients?
Yes! We love to see new faces in our studio. Please send us a message to get your new client discount code.
  • What is shading & contouring?
Shading and contouring highlight the body's natural curves by applying more solution in certain areas. Both of these techniques involve using different settings on the gun. Aside from more solution, this is a more time consuming process, which is why there is more time allotted for these appointments through our booking system. A lot of people think these concepts are directly tied to "drawn on abs", but this couldn't be further from the truth. Although false lines can be drawn anywhere on the body, only applying them where there are natural curves has a more naturally-appearing outcome.
  • What is Glow Dust?
Glow Dust is our very own magical drying powder, made in-house. It is made with all natural ingredients, & we apply it to each customer after every tan. It is meant to take the place of standing in front of a fan after a spray tan to dry. It instantly dries your skin on contact so you leave without the sticky sunless tan feeling many people experience.
  • Where can I purchase Glow Dust?
We sell our product in our studio & on Etsy. We are currently working on a wholesale deal for sunless artists who purchase from us & for those who want larger quanities.
