Frequently Asked Questions
-
What are the cancellation & late policies?Yes, we do have a 8 hour cancellation policy and a 2 hour rescheduling policy. Cancellations and rescheduling within the restricted time will not be refunded. These policies are consistent with other beauty related businesses. All appointments can be managed by the client through their online log in. Additionally, we have a late policy. We schedule studio appointments in 20 minute increments, & if someone is more than 6 minutes late to their appointment, this impacts the rest of our schedule. If you do plan on being more than 6 minutes late, please let us know, & we will do our best to work you into an empty slot, but there is no guarantee.

How far in advance of an event should I tan?Typically, it's best to spray two days prior to your event, especially if you're a bride. This gives the color full time to develop & decreases the chance that the color will transfer. For vacations, the day before you leave is fine.

What is Glow Dust?Glow Dust is our very own magical drying powder, made in-house. It is made with all natural ingredients, & we apply it to each customer after every tan. It is meant to take the place of standing in front of a fan after a spray tan to dry. It instantly dries your skin on contact so you leave without the sticky sunless tan feeling many people experience.
-
Is the solution tinted?Yes, there is immediate color due to the cosmetic bronzer in all of our solutions. The bronzer acts as a guide so the artist can see what she is doing.

How long does the tan last? The answer depends on several variables, but most of it depends on how well you prep & take care of your tan post-spray. If you follow the directions we send after booking, it should last 7-10 days before it starts to fade. The fade should be consistent with your natural skin-shed cycle. We do offer a prep & moisture lock sprays that can be added on at the time of service to extend your color an additional 1-3 days. Stay moisturized & stay hydrated!

What if I'm pregnant?Always check with your OB! We do have a great ventilation system, which is different than a booth. Sometimes that makes expecting mothers feel more comfortable. We also provide masks upon request.
